Geneviève Fontan, historian, writer, editor and expert, specializes in the presentation of perfumes and cosmetics, and in Hermès Creations. An art lover from an early age, she has gathered, outside of her collections, extensive documentation which allows her to create her works based on period documents.
From her experience, her knowledge and her passion for art, she realizes through her books the desires to which collectors aspire that only an art lover and collector can translate.
In 2004, Geneviève Fontan received the title of expert from SFEP, the French union of professional experts in works of art and collectibles. She works as an expert with auction houses and individuals.
In 2001, the Joint Commission for Publications and Press Agencies issued him with a press card. She has written for numerous magazines, notably Parfums et Senteurs, published by Pierre Cardin, and created the magazine Parfums Art et Valeur, of which she was editor between 1991-1999.
Founder, of Arfon MDE in 1996, she directs and animates her publishing house. She publishes the work of her research while presenting pieces from her collections on the posts of her blog accessible from the Arfon Maison d?Edition site.
In 2015, she created the “Carré d?Art” concept, described as an encyclopedia of Hermès scarves by her readers around the world.
